Ambivalent

Human minds are mysterious.

They hope for new beginnings

when everything is going towards the end, 

then tired to begin over 

and awaiting for it to end.

They pray, if God exists, 

that they have more than enough 

so he doesn't throw more at them 

until it's time to be helpful 

and repeat the same.

They want adventure and to be together 

yet home alone and nothing to bother.

They know the truth but

still want to be sure, 

then they lie so someone would speak that truth 

to make themselves assure.

They work hard to be famous 

then wish to be unknown,

knowing that they are mystery 

yet they want to be known.

May be this is the way 

they feel alive 

as well as they disappoint,

Or it's just me 

being ambivalent at a point...
